Her translations are intended for general SCA use and are shared publicly online.

Her relevant education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Composition) and a Master of Arts in Music (Vocal Performance) from Truman State University, as well as additional coursework in ethnomusicology, anthropology, and linguistics at Truman State University and the University of Michigan. She has experience translating, transcribing, and performing in multiple languages, including Russian, Japanese, Spanish, French, German, and Italian.

In the SCA, she has served as Minister of Arts & Sciences and Arts & Sciences Champion in her local branch groups, as well as Dean of Performing Arts & Letters at the Royal University of the Midrealm; directed large and small choirs; composed, translated, and arranged musical pieces by request; and performed multiple times as a soloist, choir member, and part of a small ensemble. Pieces performed at SCA events include motets and troubadour songs of her own composition, early 17th-century monody and opera, cantigas, dance music, trobar, florid organum, and other genres. She has taught classes on music theory, vocal technique, monody and early opera, the Notre Dame School, rhythmic modes, active listening, sightsinging, formes fixes, and other music history topics.

Kasha's other SCA interests include medieval philosophy, general medieval literature, and Japanese history and literature, in particular the sekai of Minamoto no Yoshitsune.

Kasha joined the SCA in 2006 and lived in the College of Bellewode (Kirksville, MO) in the Kingdom of Calontir before moving to the Barony of Cynnabar (Ann Arbor, MI) in 2010. She was apprenticed to Countess Conna ingen Ui Chearbhaill of the Barony of Three Rivers, Calontir, from 2007 until becoming a landed baroness. She was the Territorial Baroness of Cynnabar from 2014-2019.
